Women’s Circle Resumes on November 29th

Women's Circle, formerly Tuesday Crafters, will meet in Fellowship Hall from 10 a.m. to noon on November 29th. BYO lunch. We work on our own projects or just enjoy fellowship and good conversation. Projects range from origami to knitting to adult coloring books to creating greeting cards to working on quilts, anything you want. All are welcome!

Christmas Pageant Sign-Up

If you would like your child(ren) to participate in the Christmas Pageant on December 18th this year, please notify Jenny Egan at jenny@alumni.nd.edu or 860-287-5946 no later than November 27th. We will need to have your child(ren) attend rehearsals on December 4th and 11th. Please note the date change from the Christian Education Booklet which had the pageant on the 11th.

Outreach Opportunities

Avon Social Services Thanksgiving Baskets - Outreach Ministries will be supporting two families registered with Avon Social Services for Thanksgiving baskets.  A sign-up sheet is posted in Fellowship Hall.  The final drop-off date is Sunday, November 20th.

The Gift of Thanks Tree for Gifts of Love is in fellowship hall full of Christmas gift tags for you to select. Please return the gift (with the tag attached) to the church office by December 1st. No wrapping is needed.

Ring-a Ling - Outreach Ministries will again be hosting a bell ringing day for Salvation Army at the Avon Walmart on Saturday, December 10th from 9 am-7 pm.  There are one hour slots available to cover this super easy job.  The funds raised help the Hartford Salvation Army and local town agencies.  Please consider giving up an hour of your day to help others.  A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board by the office.

Gifts of Love, First Sunday Collection – The Outreach Ministry is changing the way we collect food for the Gifts of Love food pantry.  On the first Sunday of each month, non-perishable items will be collected in the sanctuary in the marked baskets.  Please note that Gifts of Love is currently in need of hearty soups, chili and breakfast cereals.  Thank you!
