Welcome to
Avon Congregational Church, Avon Connecticut! I hope that this website can
introduce you to the ministry and mission that lives within
the hearts of the people of this wonderful and historic congregation.
Our congregation is part of the wider church body known as the United Church of
Christ. Here you can read about this congregation's rich history and local
activity.
We strive to accomplish our vision by engaging both our minds and our hearts in
worship and study, by taking seriously the many issues facing our world, by
standing with those who suffer, and those whose choices are limited, and by
using our spiritual gifts in everyday circumstances.

know that you will find welcome here. Know that you will find opportunities for growing in your faith as well as for expression of it. Know that we are

Worship is on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. during the calendar year,
and at 9:30 a.m. during July-August.
