Friday November 17 at 7 PM- Elisabeth von Trapp in Concert

Please join us at Avon Congregational Church for an uplifting evening of song from this veteran performer of "The Sound of Music" fame. Magic happens whenever Elisabeth von Trapp walks into a room and begins to perform-something rarely seen and distinctly her own. Whether it is her ancestral connections steeped in her family name or her own experience as a conveyor of life's experiences, both in song and words, Elisabeth's concerts are part music/part inspiration. A meet-the-artist reception will follow.

Free-will offering received.  Suggested donation: $10

We welcome guests and participants in our Music Ministry!

The Rare Byrds Ensemble
Our music series continues on Sunday, October 15 at 4 PM with this ensemble from Boston.  They will be performing a dazzling concert of French Baroque music.  Come be amazed!  Free-will offering and reception follows.
The Gallery Singers- Our adult (age 12+) choir sings a wide variety of music and leads our congregation in singing each Sunday. We rehearse on Sunday mornings before the service and also hold mid-week rehearsals for those who are available. We are a fun group and would welcome you to share your instrumental or vocal talents with us! Contact Dianne Rechel, Director of Music Ministries.

Celebration Ringers-Our handbell choir rehearses on Thursday evenings and delights the congregation when we play during worship. We have a wonderful collection of Malmark bells and could use a few more people to play them!  Please contact our leader, Leslie Kohnke, through the church office.

Folk Group- Our contemporary ensemble leads worship several times  per season.  Our instrumentation includes guitars, violin and rhythm instruments.  To get involved, please contact Norm Keeney through the church office.
